Donors who wish to make their gift through the Foundation may use the form mailed during the annual fund and, in the appropriate blank, specify the School of Education or one of its divisions for any purpose you prefer. If you prefer, you can donate online at http://www.citadel.edu/tcf. You may also donate without the form by simply noting on the check or in an accompanying letter the purpose of the gift payable to The Citadel Foundation.
You are welcome to restrict your gift to an area of your choice. You may choose to make a contribution to the School of Education for undesignated or general purposes, leaving it to the discretion of the Dean of the School of Education. Funds are always needed for candidate activities and for our outreach efforts with P-12 Schools. Contributions to the School of Education’s scholarship fund or other endowed funds are always welcome. Whatever your choice, please know that your gift is greatly appreciated.
Robert O. Blakely joined the Citadel Foundation staff in September 2006 as Director of Development. His primary responsibilities are to serve as a liaison for the Classes of 1972-1976, the School of Business, and the School of Education. Robert previously has worked in the development field for Rhodes College (Memphis, TN), DePauw University (Greencastle, IN), and The Share Group (Amherst, MA). He has been involved in fundraising work for over thirteen years.
